To achieve Kantha textiles, up-cycled cotton saris are stitched together using the “Kantha” embroidery technique that is traditional to West Bengal, India. Made from repurposed sari textiles, these accessories provide work to women in need. A sari is the traditional dress of women in India. When a portion of a sari, the traditional dress of women in India, is frayed and can no longer be worn, it is given a new life by becoming an accessory.
