Carved Angel Ornament w/ Beeswax Finish, Rwanda

Artisans hand-carve each Angel Ornament from a branch of the flowering Jacaranda tree. The kneeling angel is a simple reminder of the sacred wonder of Jesus’ coming, celebrated at Christmas.

Jacaranda trees add to the beauty of Rwanda, with their feathery leaves and small purple flowers.  They are also special in that they grow back after being cut.

Measures approx 2.5 inches in height.
