Harmonic Singing Bowl, India

Hand hammered brass, comes with a wooded striker.

To play, balance the bowl in your hand, palm flat. Hold the baton above the bowl and slowly and steadily run the baton around the outside rim of the bowl. A harmonic, singing tone will slowly build and fill the room. If you first tap the bowl with the baton, it will resonate louder and sing sooner!

Do not polish the bowl because it could affect the tone.
